What were the last three gifts that you bought/made for the holidays?

Asked by Nimis (13255points) December 16th, 2008

And who was it for?

Assuming, of course, that you’ve been doing a bit of holiday shopping.
Just curious as to what you little Santa jellies are up to.

The latest gift I bought was some popcorn for my grandpa. He’s rather picky when it comes to liking gifts so I got him something that I know he’ll love. I may pick up a Frank Sinatra CD for him as well.

I can’t say…the receiver is a Fluther member (my daughter)! Backing up beyond the last three:
A Dilbert desk calendar for my Dad (it’s an annual tradition)
Hello Kitty ziplock bags and plastic food storage containers for his fiance (major hello kitty fan…she even has a hello kitty microwave!)
A wooden sign for my best friend that shows the name of her hometown along with the latitude and longitude. I already gave it to her and she loved it : )

Autism puzzle-piece charm?

hypeserver's avatar

I never knew that a puzzle piece represented autism. That’s a nice charm, a boy at my school has autism. I try to stick up for him when some kids won’t leave him alone.

Hadn’t heard of that before. Very cool.

A packet of matches
cigarette paper
a scarf/gloves/wooly hat combo
all for my girlfriend

ok it’s part of a chest full of tiny little bits and pieces I’ve been making, everyday things she uses like shampoo, chocolates etc (hence the matches lol). It’s generally an inside joke thing.

My daughter is getting a drawing board and some Winnie the Pooh shampoos. And that is ALL the Xmas shopping for this year.
