Anyone know why my Ipod is not being recognized by Itunes?

When I plug my Ipod in to my computer it recognizes it as new hardware and starts charging but for some reason it is not popping up in Itunes so that I can update it with all the new awesome music that I have downloaded…Anyone ever run into this?

Same thing used to happen to me. The only way I could get it to work was to plug it into the back of the modem itself. Not the back of the monitor or anything. I’m not sure if you’re already doing that or not. Good luck!

Is disk mode enabled in itunes? if it is disable it, then re connect.
