Creepy song IMO, but I think it’s really shows who Jackson is.
Honestly, I do feel he’s a pedo, but I feel bad for the guy. He didn’t have much of a childhood (his father always made him go to the rehearsals for whatever kid dance/sing group he was in at the time) and now I think he suffers because of it.

Very Peter-Pan-ish with all the flying ships and stuff. I think Jackson intended it to be that way though.

Check under your bed.

wait, um, are we missing something? i mean, well, i really want to answer this.

shadling21's avatar

@charliecompany34 – We’re actually discussing Michael Jackson’s ”Childhood”.

AstroChuck's avatar

How sad. I myself started out as a child. Sadly, my childhood was kind of a blur.
Of course, that might be just because I needed glasses.

chelseababyy's avatar

Wow. Just thought of something totally INAPPROPRIATE TO SAY. :X

seekingwolf's avatar

@chelseababyy

chants say it say it say it!
c’mon :) It’s about an inappropriate person, you can say what you want!

shadling21's avatar

@AstroChuck – How interesting! I thought you were in a constant state of physical and mental regression.

@chelseababyy – Do tell.

chelseababyy's avatar

Well. My first comment was, check under your bed, my comment now would be,
check under a little boys bed…

told you it was INAPPROPRIATE

seekingwolf's avatar

Inappropriate but true, heh heh.
sure hope there are no MJ groupies on here to see that ><

Mtl_zack's avatar

This quote explains a lot: “It’s been my fate to compensate, for the Childhood I’ve never known.”

chelseababyy's avatar

@Mtl_zack that’s for sure.

michael Jackson is awesome. i think he is the best pop artist/musician/songwriter/performer to ever live. and he has numbers to prove it. not just people who know about them. they are real records. lol all i have to say is…750,000,000 records sold. i mean, all a person can do is laugh. he is a genius and to me honest, todays “knowledgeable critics” do not even know anything about him as a performer. it’s easy to just hear things and base an oppinion and make little boy jokes. how long can those go on? (waiting for a wise response…it’s expected) most people who make fun of the guy know 6 of his songs at most and have never seen him perform. the guy has hundreds of songs and it’s IMPOSSIBLE to watch a concert of his and not be blown away. now i just want to ask politely to hold back ur comments and personal attacks. it’s annoying and im not writing this to be attacked. im aware that the majority of the people who read this are the people who are dying to make the little boy jokes that i can’t believe are still funny. but im just simply saying…there has to be SOME reason that the guy is…well michael F’ing Jackson.

seekingwolf's avatar

@futurelaker88

You want a reason for him being like that?

1) Bad family life
2) Lack of Childhood
3) He lives vicariously through younger boys because of reason #2

I think anyone his age who molests younger children…not JUST has the desire to, but actually acts on it, deserves to be ridiculed and punished when found guilty. I’ll say yeah, the guy’s a great artist, but he’s a burden on society when his issues make him commit criminal acts, esp. on children. His issues are explanations for his behaviour, not excuses.

asmonet's avatar

@futurelaker88: He’s talented sure, that doesn’t mean he isn’t a bit of a fuck.

futurelaker88's avatar

believe me, i know all about his childhood and all that. i have like 20 interviews with the guy and I’ve watched them all. and I’ve followed the trial. btw…innocent twice! and the jurors…let me repeat…the jurors said, “there’s not even one sign of good, believeable evidence that this man has done anything!” not to mention, the accuser, arizo…is insane. she’s in court constantly losing cases trying to get money from department stores. even by the interviews alone it’s obvious that michael could never touch a kid like that. im not even saying that because i believe his words, im speaking alone on the way he reacts to statements, his embarassment at the mention of the word sex, his constant refusal to stop helping children who have unfortunate childhoods. if he truly was scared of getting caught, he would make more of an attempt to stop doing it and he doesn’t. he keeps doing it because he feels like he can help them and that’s part of the reason he’s on earth.

Yikes!

@futurelaker88

“he keeps doing it because he feels like he can help them and that’s part of the reason he’s on earth.”

lol, because molesting little children is really the way to help them! LOL And it’s his REASON for being here! haha all the more why we should put that pedo away!
That court case was so botched. What a joke.

The only reason that fucker isn’t locked up is because he’s a celebrity. Money and fame can buy you anything these days.

and @asmonet well said :)

seekingwolf's avatar

@futurelaker88

I was being sarcastic, grasshopper. You had made a poorly-thought out point that begged to be pointed out.
Sorry I’m insulting the pedo that you seem to admire so.

And thank you. :D

futurelaker88's avatar

how can u state it as a fact when you CANT know? that’s my only question. teach me how to do that

seekingwolf's avatar

@futurelaker88

I feel that the testimony of boys and their families are enough. I also read some analysis down by a few psychologists who said that they are certain he’s molested young boys. Justice has not been served in that the jury decided to free him because he was famous and rich. Jurors can be stupid. You should learn not to trust everything they say.

For me, that’s good enough. I take it as fact. He’s a pedophile.
If you are looking for better support for this pedo, you should go to a fansite. I’m sure all will agree with you.

TitsMcGhee's avatar

I was always told I didn’t have a (proper) childhood because I never learned how to swim or ride a bike.

That song is purely frightening though, haha.

seekingwolf's avatar

@TitsMcGhee

While both of those are wonderful things, it’s very easy to have a childhood without them. I started to ride bikes (well, tricycles) when I was 3ish, but didn’t learn how to swim til 9. (fear of water). I think childhood is about your state of mind, your innocence, not just your activities :)

TitsMcGhee's avatar

@seekingwolf: I have a crazy fear of drowning, so attempts to learn to swim were not great. I definitely had a good time without both of those things though.
