Does a banjo that says reso tone mean it has the back part of it filled in with wood?

Im looking at a five string banjo on craigslist, its my first banjo i need help picking it out.

it’s not filled with wood but there’s a round wooden resonator that changes the sound… it’s used more if you want to play bluegrass as opposed to folk.
