How often do you change your avatar?

I should change it now since I just went DARK brunette, but I don’t have a good pic yet.

I haven’t changed mine since it morphed from a jelly to Snowman Bono back a year ago.

I just signed up 15 minutes ago, so once every 15 minutes

Depends, sometimes ill have the same avatar for a long time, others will last only a couple weeks. I think im gonna be rockin doom on a unicorn for a bit. It is pretty bad ass after all :P

Well, I’ve had a bunch, but I’d say the average is every month or so. I plan on keeping my dear Clara Bow here for a while. My face might make a comeback. We’ll see. :)

It all depends on how the wind is blowing.

Twice but only because you couldn’t really tell what the old warning sign was. I can’t see the avatars anyways. Most often I check this site through elinks which is a text only internet browser.

Laugh, clowns, laugh. I would change it more often, but I am not all that technically proficient. I wanted to use a pic of one of my dogs, but did not like the way it thumbnailed.

Rarely. Jeruba made me a holiday one that was quite nice. Once the holidays were over, back to boring I went! I am thinking about changing up the font on my ‘A’, though. Some people seem to find it imposing :)

Nope, I’ve had the same one since the day I joined over two years ago. I’ve thought of changing it a couple times, but I can’t bring myself to actually do it.

I change my avatar whenever I Fluther on my laptop rather than my iPhone, which isn’t very often. I do have a nice little collection of avatars, though.

I hadn’t even thought of changing mine yet, as I adore Baby JoeJoe. I suppose when it happens it’ll be on a whim.

But can I say here that I lurve tinyfaery’s avatar? It’s like hands and cute bug feets at the same time!

I’ve changed mine for special occasions (Christmas Santa hat, New Year’s champagne glass), and the other night I flipped Cate’s face to look to the right because I got bored with left-facing. I can see making some seasonal changes now and then. But I like recognizability (I came in when daloon was a cornet, and I like that better!), so I don’t want to change too much.

I actually just changed mine for the first time. The same reason as @Judi, I colored my hair and also chopped it all off.
