Pick Three (minimum) or Five music genres and list them in order of preference. Shall we see which is prevalent ?

Of course.. even more than Five; it’s not a maximum, just a general indicator to be flexible with everyone.
Roughly, Mine is:

I – Medieval Folk & World Folk
II – Prog Metal / Rock & Psych
III – Minimalist
IV – Chamber Music
V – Symphonic Classical
VI – Gothic
VII – Dark Ambient & Noise
VIII – Jazz (this actually was supposed to be higher up, I thought I’d already type it in)...
IX – Electronica: Experimental, New Age Space
X – New Age
XI – Indie (in general)
XII – Doom & Death metal
XIII – Folk Metal
.........
bla bla and so on.
Very roughly, though. (I seem to have trouble making a list in this field.)

Oh, wow. I have never found a musical genre that I will not listen to, and what I like best depends very heavily on my mood at the moment. My list would change so much from day to day. So here’s the top ten most common genre tags in my media player:

01. Rock
02. Soundtrack
03. Indie Rock
04. Country
05. Indie
06. (uncategorized)
07. Alt Rock
08. World
09. Classic Rock
10. Folk

“String Quartet” and “Jazz” missed the list by seven songs.

And before anyone asks, I really am not sure what the difference between “Rock,” “Indie,” and “Indie Rock” is. I tag kind of on a whim.
