The obvious choice seems to be Disney.

Probably not Vegas.

Sex Museum in NYC? show him his roots?

no seriously, Disney is obvious, but a lot of the rides he might be too small for. Sea World is a great option, since there are some rides but also a lot of education stuff. In that case, Epcot is a better bet too.

Aside from those types of things, why not go to the oceanside (if possible) and/or an aquarium. Some outdoors where s/he can run around. All those parks are fun, but 1) they’re money traps and 2) it’s a lot of standing in line(s), which adults, not to speak of children, have little stomach for.

A zoo or aquarium is a great idea, also the beach, kids love playing in the sand.

Someplace with lots of other three year olds and not a lot of adults.

My little kids LOVE the beach.

Sanibel Island, FL.

They are known for their huge amounts and quality of seashells.

(Presuming that you want something other than the obvious choice of Orlando, FL as mentioned above….)

Disneyland!!!

Definitely not Disneyland. We are thinking Caribbean beach vacation, but we don’t think she is old enough or outgoing enough for the kids resort stuff. So are thinking of a simple affordable beach vacation.

Disney World
;)

@Snoopy – I loooove Sanibel Island! It’s definitely a place to visit if you ever have the chance. The sand is soooo soft and I found a ton of beautiful shells.

How about one of those Caribbean Disney cruises?

@_ Disneyworld is in Florida and there is Disneyland in California
:)

It’s not that warm over here if you’re thinking about Disneyland.

sorry for not being clear, but NOT DISNEY

A nearby beach would probably be a good choice. Disney would overwhelm a child of that age and he is too young to remember the adventure later.
