Street legality of nitrous oxide in Texas?

Asked by drownedtosleep (116points) April 7th, 2009

I’ve been looking into this and I can’t seem to find a straight answer. So if anyone has any knowledge of the law in Texas, or can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

There is law in Texas?

Considering that Cool Whip uses nitrous oxide as a propellant, I don’t see how it wouldn’t be (A kid here died recently from huffing nitrous oxide out of a Cool Whip can, so don’t get any ideas).

@Harp
We are talking about a completely different usage in a car than in cans for propellant. I definitely have no plans of huffing it so no ideas here ;).
