About how many days in advance should you ask someone out on a casual date?

Asking Thursday for a Saturday date works out well.
The day in between adds to the anticipation.

Or if you’re really good, you can ask for a date anytime and go that same night.

I’d ask Wednesday. Lots of time people have their weekend plans set by Thursday.

hm… I’ll just ask when it’s most convenient then.

If it’s Tuesday, then four days, but if it’s Sunday, one day. Thursday is five days, but Friday can be a that day thing, unless it’s the fourth Friday of the Fifth month, in which case Wednesdays are Mondays, and four days become five days.

After lent, Saturday is two days, but Monday is three. Unless the pope sees his shadow. In that case, wait until next month, and ask about last month.

@The_Compassionate_Heretic I take back everything I said previously. For a noon Saturday lunch, the right time is Wednesday at 4:03pm. :)

But really, even something shocking like Tuesday could let the girl know you’re excited to take her out, and give her time to shop for something if she’s that type.
