my wife of two weeks :] got her and her bridesmaids hair done for either $35 or $70 for all of them. ( I don’t remember if she was charged again for the 2nd time, as she did not like the outcome of the first try). It may have been discounted as it was done by “someone she (somehow) knows”

It’ll cost the same as any updo that you’d get, like for the prom or event. Depends on where you go, it could be around 50, or a little over $100. Call some salons that you know have good reputations, they may even have prices on their websites.

I live in the ‘burbs, an updo at a nice salon will cost anywhere from $50–60
if you’ve got bridesmaids, check with them… you could all go to the same place and get deep discounts on the party

@christine215 you are a smart cookie.

Less perhaps if you don’t mention it’s for your wedding.

My wife’s hair and makeup for our wedding earlier this year cost her £45 for hair and £25 for makeup, she had it done how you describe half up half down and wavy.

If you get a hairdresser to come out to you it will cost a lot more but if you can find somewhere near the venue and go there to get it done first thing in the morning it’ll be cheaper.

and @Noel_S_Leitmotiv has a good point, I noticed when planning our wedding that as soon as you mention wedding for anything people tend to double the price.

Hope you have the best day ever !!

$60—$120., call around salons/studios and tell them exactly what the event is for.
