Does anyone know how far along in and ectopic pregnany that you start bleeding?

I just want to know – ONLY THOSE THAT HAVE HAD AN ECTOPIC PREGNANCY – how far along is it that you start bleeding or your tubes and whatnot rupture.

I’ve never personally experienced an ectopic pregnancy, but as a CNM/NP, have experience as a care provider. Timing and severity of symptoms depend on where in the tube the embryo is implanted. The narrowest part is where the tubes insert into the uterus, symptoms and rupture will happen pretty early. The stretchiest part is the outer tube, nearest the ovary – a pregnancy implanted there might not cause symptoms for a couple of months. In the rarest ectopics, where the pregnancy is attached somewhere out in the abdomen, like to the outer intestines, there might not be typical symptoms at all.
