Randomly being logged out of Fluther?

I was browsing and posting, and then when I finished posting a response, I clicked on my new questions, and I was taken to a page asking me to join or log in. Yet there are times when I let Fluther sit for hours, days even, and I don’t get automatically logged out. Is it a bug?

I’m not complaining, I’m only curious.
