How do I post a Jpeg in a Fluther answer?

Asked by janbb (62878points) November 16th, 2009

I have a great Jpeg saved on my desktop that will definitively answer a Fluther question. How do I post a link to it?

You need to upload it to a hosting service like flickr, imagehost, etc. Then you can copy and paste the link here.

What @jackm said. You can’t post pics directly. My favorite is to use tinypic.com then link to the url.

Try this, it’s easy and quick: http://www.copytaste.com/#RichText. No sign-up required and it gives you a link right away.

Here’s an example: http://www.copytaste.com/as63f0ix, users can comment on it as well!

Thanks all – I used www.copytaste.com. Will try the others another time. Results are in pumpkin question about which pumpkin to use for cooking.

You can link to it but you cannot post a photo.
Best to use an online photo hosting service like tinypic or photobucket.
