Recording vhs with roxio easy vhs to dvd on macbook?

I am running out of space on the internal drive, how do I make an external drive(WD “my book” 500 GB) the drive for the data to be saved to instead of the internal drive so it does not run out of space?

Sorry, a lot of super-technical questions about video editing and such go unanswered.

This should just be in your preferences though… Search for “Save Location”?
