Hi, we are a young family thinking of moving from London in the UK to Canada, where do you think the best place to live and work would be?

Asked by Kickerk (8points) January 9th, 2010

My husband works as an Exec Chef here in London, what should his salary expectation be for Canada?

All of Canada is beautiful, really. If I had my pick, I would look into the province of British Columbia. It’s beautiful. I’m not entirely sure what the pay scale is, though (for exec chefs). You’d have to look into that.

There are more jobs in the population centers. I’d look into either Toronto or Vancouver.

If mild weather matters, Vancouver is the big city with the mildest weather.

Lake Louise is one of Earth’s most beautiful places, and I would imagine the tourist industry is good for chefs.

I keep hearing awesome things about Vancouver and how friendly the people there are. I don’t remember ever being there myself, though.

Canada is a lovely country. I think that it’s the best country in the world. A bit biased, perhaps. ;-) You’ll love it!
