My father, an ex israeli paratrooper, had huge forearms (and calf) so to be like him… I also made mine big… nothing like for squeezing a girls ass!

Second @WhatEvil‘s standing calf raise. You can do this with or without weights, by standing with roughly half your foot (experiment to find your balance) hanging over the edge of a sidewalk.

Also, run stairs or do hikes with large elevation gains. This will tone all your leg muscles.

I second @WhatEvil‘s recommendations for wrist curls.

@WhatEvil – that’s a great site, thanks for posting the link!

run up and down the football field bleachers for the calfs (calves?).

One exercise I like for forearms is taking one of the hand towels found in most gyms and wrap it around a dumbbell when doing curls. It makes it more difficult to grip the dumbbell and you can tell it’s working after a set or two. You can also limit how many times you wrap the towel around.

@lilikoi Yeah it is a great site. There are obviously other website which have more detailed explanations eg. for using proper form in an exercise like Squat or Deadlift, but exrx is really good for finding out what exercises you should be doing, and then you can just google for tips or videos on form so that you don’t injure yourself. All of those exercises are pretty simple though, you can’t go far wrong on them.

@Zen_Again – Ha ha, fail.

@Tomfafa – Do you know how he did it?

@WhatEvil – Thank you for all the links!

I have one of these. They’re not expensive, but they actually work really well for your forearms.

It’s a gyroscope which you spin up to start it, then work up the speed by rotating your wrist. It may look stupid but I promise you it is good.
