Perhaps you should contact geeksquad?

Are you sure that they gave you a special user and password?
Most routers come with a default login of “admin” for the account name, and no password.

What kind of router? It is probably the default.

The PPPoE login is your Internet Service Provider (ISP) login, from Comcast, AT&T, Roadrunner, etc.

With AT&T DSL, for example, it’s my email address and email password. If that doesn’t ring a bell, I would phone the ISP.

I’m with @jaytkay on this one. Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) is communication between your terminal and your Internet Service Provider (ISP). You need to contact your ISP.
