when the mpg is mandated by the government will I still be able to drive my mustang

You can still drive cars without seatbelts. I’m sure the same thing will apply to your car.

John’s right you’ll still be able to drive your car. The government has a program that pays people to take certain old gas hogs to the recycler. Where they are smashed down and recycled. The biggest deterrent to driving low MPG cars will be at the pumps.
