What is the attraction of Farmville?

I used to play when it first came out. It’s just addicting in the way that The Sims or Harvest Moon is addicting. You get caught up in stuff that you have to check after a certain amount of time otherwise you basically get no credit for it, so it can get obsessive.

I’m still wondering wtf he attraction to Facebook itself is.

I have no idea. I have blocked Farmvillle from my Facebook wall, as well as Mafia Wars, Valentines, people trying to win iPods, iPads, and all and sundry iDon’tGiveAShits….

How do you block it? I’m really not that savvy with social media type sites.

Yeah, it can be blocked. I don’t understand why it bugs people what other people do on their facebook. If you don’t like it, then don’t befriend them.

I play it. I know there’s really no point. But it’s still fun. I have posted on my wall quite a few times that I post the updates for other people that play Farmville, and if you’re not interested, then block the app.
