You really have two options for genre: black metal and church music. Enigma’s an outlier, so far as I know.

Occasionally you can find some stuff in soundtracks to movies or video games.

@jaytkay Thank you i do enjoy those my fave is actually from an anime and is called “lilium” check it out if you like them
@RareDenver Does enigma have any songs in latin?
@elenuial Hmm Do you have any recommendations for those 2 genres? and as stated above “lilium” is from an anime and One winged angel is Sephiroths song in FF

@shadowofdeath I thought the gregorian chants were in latin? It was an answer not to be taken too seriously anyway

Well, it’s not particularly my cup of tea, but I imagine you might enjoy E Nomine. Look ‘em up on YouTube.

Maybe also Dragonforce? Or, I dunno, Nightwish. Maybe Rhapsody. Like I said, I’m not a huge fan.

With church music, all those Gregorian chants are a good place to start.

@RareDenver actually the chants are in latin. and i wasnt saying i dont enjoy enigma actually i do
@elenuial Hmm i have some dragonforce, and i love nightwish (thats where i found O fortuna) Never heard of E nomine so i shall check on that right now

Update: i checked em out and its actually pretty wicked

E Nomine is awesome, although most of it is in German, not Latin. I can’t think of much beyond the old classics I’m sure you’ve already checked out.
Sad but true, as far as Latin chanting and classical music goes, most of my knowledge belongs to video game openings.

@Symbeline It wouldnt hurt to go over the classics as i havent really delved to far into the genre as i couldnt find any
