Do you know any Canadian songs with the theme of Canadian identity?

Yes, this is homework.

I’m more specifically looking for a song by Skinny Puppy.

I only know Victoria and Oh, Canaduh by No Means No. A Canadian band.

I’ve known some people who felt the Hockey Night in Canada theme should’ve been a contender for that country’s national anthem. If you’re looking for national identity, there you go.

There is no song more Canadian than Anne Murray’s classic “Snowbird”. It doesn’t mention Canada in its lyrics, but the song is distinctively Canadian in sound and meaning, with its references to snow, winter, and the prairies. And Anne Murray of course is a Canadian icon, like Wayne Gretzky. I have grown up in Canada admiring both. Lol.
