When you purchased your last vehicle did you park in the Adirondacks to keep from getting dinged?

Some time back a friend of mine bought a new car. When ever she would park she would park way out in the Adirondacks where before she would get as close as she can to the entrance as possible. When I asked she was trying to avoid getting her door dinged right away, that she wanted to enjoy the car unblemished as long as she could. Last time you purchased a vehicle how many days, week, or months etc did you make it before someone dinged you and did it happen in a parking lot or some other parking formation? When was the last time you were the hapless dinger who dinged someone else’s door? And I won’t even ask if you informed the owner of what you done..hee hee hee.

I got my first car about a year ago. I got it about the time school got out, so I wasn’t concerned about it being dinged up. When school started, I parked in the front of the lot (bad Idea.) Someone slammed their door into my passenger side, then my best friend backed up into the same area, busting my fender, and chipping the paint. I now park in the parking space farthest away from school. Lesson Learned.
