Where can I find a car radio with only a tape deck in Longview or Vancouver, Washigton?

Asked by shpadoinkle_sue (7188points) May 26th, 2010

I’ve finally got enough money to get one for my 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The person I bought it from took the radio and the antenna with them. I really don’t want a cd player because I don’t use them anymore. I don’t want to buy it online because I don’t know if it works or not.

I’ve tried Car Audio, Audio Source, Best Buy, pretty sure Wal-Mart doesn’t have any, Napa, and Car Toys. The only place I’ve seen them is at Goodwill. At this point, I’m tempted. Is there somewhere I’ve missed?

Try a salvage yard, and bring someone who is car savvy with you.

Here’s one for sale on eBay. “New” in the box for $25 – $29.

Junk yard. If self service, bring your own tools.
Junkyards also have hotline web exchanges.
BTW goodwill is a great idea! Snap it up. Some goodwill stores/Salvation army stores will give you refund if it doesn’t work. Or maybe one does, one doesn’t. either way, the price is sure to be right and no shipping no extraction effort or extraction labor charges.
