Advice on underage drinking citation?

What state was this citation given? What is the age of the person? Were they driving?
Sorry for all the questions, but it might help better answer yours.

Unfortunately there’s not much you can do. Assuming you weren’t driving or doing something else stupid, I (and most of the world) is on your side, but law is law. If its your first offense you might get a judge to let you off light after a lecture (probably just a fine).

Go to court or pay the fine. Get on with life. :-)

If you are guilty, pay the fine and don’t drink until you are 21.
