What is the best computer to buy?

I’d recommend a Mac, then. Higher initial cost, but less hassle with viruses, and they tend to have a longer useful life than Windows machines. And if there’s something you really need Windows for, you can find a way to cope.

iMac if you want a desktop computer, MacBook if you want a notebook, Mac mini if you already have a computer setup and are looking to upgrade.

I too vote Mac. Seems more logical than trying to get through the pains of Vista. My second choice would be a Dell with Ubuntu.
