What style coffee table should I use to go with this project (details inside)

My first thought is a kitschy, retro coffee table…like this

It’s not that appealing beyond its shape, so it’d be a great canvas for your project!

I would get a table like this and lacquer each photo to a seperate ceramic tile and then you can mix and match their position depending on your mood. I might refinish the wood to different color to match your decor but I like the tile idea most!

Any table with clean,straight lines and simple design would look best.

I’d do a mid-century modern or Danish style coffee table. Clean, straight lines; agree with @lucillelucillelucille.

I’d go with something shaped like this, in a darker wood tone. (Note: this table is plastic… I’m referencing it for shape only.)
