Since space is expanding and is linked to time, isn't time expanding as well? (Strange Universe Series, 2011)

Asked by ETpro (34605points) May 8th, 2011

Space and time are intrinsically linked. Cosmologists speak of it as spacetime. The expansion of the Universe is occurring because the open space between various galactic clusters is expanding. So isn’t that making more time as well as more space? What are the implications of expanding time when its expansion rate keeps accelerating?
