“I love you” is already in English.

Your question is unclear.

Translate what?

*Did I go blind again?

Translate doesn’t just refer to “the speaking language.”

You still need to elaborate.

Okay I “simplified” it.

- Be on their side even if they are wrong.
– Take a genuine interest in their hobbies
– Do things for them that they would have had to do themselves
– Make them shake (works in many situations)
– Don’t be uptight/bitchy (maybe it’s just me but someone who is stressed or uptight is bad)
– Laugh
– Tease
– Be financially responsible
– Listen to what they have to say

This really could go on forever.

If you were a Klingon, a tender way to express love to your mate might be, “I would let you live where you stand.”

To many people, I Love You is special in itself. You can’t get away with “I have very strong feelings for you” or, “I want to spend the rest of my life with you” without eventually saying I love you.

Not to mention, if you’re trying to avoid saying it, you probably don’t mean it, anyway.

You didn’t “simplify it” you actually made it make sense… *Now it does.

I (Heart) ♥ you

I use that a lot to imply less intense feelings of what OMG I AM SO TOTALLY, MADLY IN LOVE WITH YOU FOR ETERNITY, AND WE WILL NEVER EVER, NEVER PART when it means “I Love You.” *Yikes… Too much for me!

I ♥ U Is just a little thump… Like a prelude to a kiss in perspective.

If you don’t wanna say it, then do something that shows it.

“actions speak louder than….blah blah blah.” You know what I mean.

Scooby's avatar

I have a hard on for you ! :-/

GabrielsLamb's avatar

@Male No don’t lessen the impact of that… That is really important and very true!

No “blah blah blah.” Cooties or touch backs what so ever!

You nailed it.

@Scooby “I have a ♥-on for U.” LOL That’s awesome!

Read Song of Solomon. It gets pretty steamy though.

@Judi – Wouldn’t it be awesome if someone actually put Song of Solomon to music!

When I was hanging out with someone in whom I had a keen interest, she said that she wanted to write something on my hand. She then cautioned that I likely wouldn’t understand it. Any statement like that is a challenge to me. She wrote “ILD.” I smiled and said “Ich liebe dich auch.” She smiled sheepishly and said, “you took German . . . ” I shook my head and said, “my grandmother was German.” Then she kissed me . . .
