Is it legal in Canada if a business owner wants to personally work 20 hours a day, 7 days a week, 364 days a year without pay?

Or do labor restrictions apply to business owners as well? In Alberta most workers are not permitted to work more than 12 hour shifts in one location. Is the title of small business owner a freedom that allows the owner the option to personally work more hours for the option of less pay?
