Since email addresses are not made public on Fluther, how do spammers get them?

So, how do I know that it was obtained from Fluther, you may ask?

Because I looked at the other recipients to whom it was sent and among them were Ninjacolin and Cameron.

Coincidence? I think not.

I’m assuming it was a bot because another recipient was cafe press.

How did they do this since I have never put my email addy in any of my posts, only once or twice in PMs. But they aren’t supposed to be public.

So what’s going on here?

And, more importantly, how do I (or Fluther) put a stop to it.
