Do you ever view internet only content?

Asked by Imadethisupwithnoforethought (14682points) March 5th, 2013

Curious about age differences and internet usage. Do you mind ball-parking your age and telling me if you have ever watched entertainment created solely for the internet? Have you watched a web series?

I wonder where the age cut-offs are, or if any exist.

51 years old. I have never watched a web series and couldn’t name one if my life depended on it.

Interesting question.
I had not done so until quite recently. In a brief spell of depression, I went through all of Hulu’s Battleground (their first exclusive series) in a day and a half. I think that’s the only internet-exclusive series I’ve seen, but it got me used to the idea.
I am at the tail-end of the 18 to 24 demographic, haha.

I’m one year older than @bkcunningham but my answer would read exactly the same.

I am 21 and I watch a few different educational web series. I watch a lot of YouTube videos made by my friends that are solely for the internet. However, I do entertain myself with other content that isn’t internet specific. I like to stay away from the computer as much as possible.

31. The hell’s a web series though? But I do like web comics.

I’m 27.

My tv-style entertainment is almost strictly internet-based. I watch probably too much Hulu, I read xkcd and explosm.net webcomics. I get most of my giggles from sites like ClientsFromHell.com and NotAlwaysRight.com.

I also play video games, and play outside whenever possible. I like to paint and swordfight.

I’m ageless and I love You Tube. (Probably as I have no TV at present).
