How do I ask my exfriend for forgiveness ?

She is into Wicca and United church. I offended her by telling her that I loved her, when she was dating someone else. I’ve lost contact. She prayed something to herself and I got paranoid and started reliving parts of my life over. I called it psychic astral time travel, and I thought that because I was in psychology that I can get shielded from scorn with a basic academic freedom.
