How do we pronounce MOOC to make it sound like something good?

MOOC, of course, is the acronym for “massive open online courses”. Harvard and MIT began the collaboration, starting the EdX consortium to develop open-source software for online education. But it’s been rapidly gathering steam since. Stanford has signed on and Google teamed up EdX in the development efforts. It’s open to all colleges and even to individuals and corporations wishing to play a role. So it looks like MOOC is happening. Is the acronym like the Australian brand name UGHH—so ugly it’s lovable. Or is there a clever twist in pronunciation that makes MOOC not sound like “Moo-k”?
