I have no opinion on Sherman…he was amped up after winning a ticket to the Super Bowl. Goodman is the sore loser who wasn’t man enough to shake Sherman’s hand after the game.

Never heard of the bloke.

I think it was just the heat of the moment. It’s still bad sportsmanship, but I think it’s ridiculous that people are calling him a thug.

Assuming you mean Richard Sherman. Just another loudmouth. But it makes good TV, and thus makes him more marketable. He graduated from Stanford. Jock or not, that is impressive.

On the other hand, Roger Sherman was a contemporary of Thomas Jefferson. But I don’t think he played in the Super Bowl.

Richard Sherman got a fine, but it had nothing to do with Crabtree; it was for the choking gesture he made at Kaepernick. I think the shove Crabtree gave him was done with the adrenaline of the game surging, and the Sherman comments were the same. They are both talented players, and I don’t think that anything that happens on the field (or immediately after) in one game gets carried over into the next. They’re professionals. They very well might not like each other much, but most of the talk is just that: talk.

I know what Thomas Jefferson said about him: “He never said a foolish thing in his life.”

I wonder what he would say about this question, though.
