What argument did you have recently that you know you are right?

The other person just was not getting it!

Last night the person I was with was complaining about how much taxes she pays on her yearly bonus. She just did not understand that what is withheld is not what she actually pays at the end of the year. She didn’t believe me, and she likes to think I’m wrong anyway. She is pissed at her job for taking so much taxes out of her bonus. She said she would ask her accountant about what I said. I told her that is a good idea so she feels better. It never ceases to amaze me that people don’t understand you owe the IRS what you owe, whether you paid it during the year through witholdings or not.

How long did the argument last? Did you give up quickly? Does it really matter to you that the person understands the truth? Did you give up quickly or try to persist in making your point.
