I ate at my MIL’s and you might know from other Q’s that I felt she was making too much food and doing too much work.
She says she will never put out finger foods again for people as they arrive (I hope she doesn’t) and not make as many dishes for dinner either. We’ll see.
Supposedly, for Christmas this year she agreed with me to make about half of what she usually does. Again, we’ll see.
It doesn’t have to be food preparation, maybe you have decided not to travel far again on Thanksgiving, or not to go to your Inlaws.
