Are you sure those are honeybees? They don’t usually nest in the open. More likely inside of a tree or something.

Here’s a picture of wild bees

The picture was taken at my step daughter’s house, here in Kansas.

Looks like the Honey Bees have set up a temporary bivouac while they scout out for a permanent home.
