What have you done a reevaluation on in your life?

Asked by Hypocrisy_Central (26879points) August 20th, 2015

I remember back some time ago I was doing a mural with some other artist and they were using an airbrush for parts of it. I was a bit of a ”purist” and believed you should be able to capture any effect with the paint brush. They said do not knock it until you try it, so, I tried it. I could see potential in it but I wasn’t sold. I started reading up on it and soon knew more about it than the artist I shared the wall with. When I was acquainted with the double-action airbrush, I was pretty sold then. Now it is one of my favorite tools for creating art. I now know there are effects one can only get from an airbrush. Over the years I have done a reevaluation of the airbrush and went from a skeptic, to a supporter, what have you done an about face on?

I’m in my late 20s and going back to college to become a nurse. For the last several years, I’ve been a retail manager at a wine store.

^ Before had you had something against being a nurse that you now, after reevaluation, deemed gone or more pluses to being a nurse than when you passed up on it to go retail?
