Would you buy a house that has the secondary bedrooms at basement level?

The house is a ranch with all the secondary bedrooms on the lower level. All bedroom of course have windows, the basement is walk out. the basement has a very large great room and “bar” area. I put bar in quotes because it’s family friendly. It’s finished the same as a second floor would be, but just is at ground level, below the main level, and better than most second floors because the family area is really nice and large.
In your answer please include if the age of your children matter. If you have the opportunity to ask your kids what they think I’d be curious.
