What is the opposite of Halal in Arabic?

Asked by elbanditoroso (33176points) July 13th, 2018

In Hebrew, “Kosher” means Kosher, and refers to food that is slaughtered, raised, or prepared according to Jewish Law (Halacha). “Treif” means unkosher.

Arabic uses “Halal” to mean food that is properly slaughtered or prepared according to Islamic law. What is the Arab language equivalent to “Treif”?
