Do you have a favorite recipe for Turkish pickled vegetables?

I went to a Turkish restaurant yesterday that I have not been to in a few years, and I was reminded how much I like the pickled cabbage and beets. They serve it as a side with white rice and raw julienne carrots and whatever meat you order, I had the chicken sis kebab, and my husband had the beef and it was all delicious! I love eating there, because the meat is marinated and grilled, and the veggies are pickled or raw and nothing is drenched in oil or butter. I leave there feeling good, like the food was reasonably healthy for a restaurant meal.

I want to make the veggies at home, or maybe there is a brand I can buy in the supermarket already packaged?
