Are there asymptomatic cases of polio in NYC or more like just undiagnosed?

What are the estimates of how many people are actually infected?
What I heard and read was they are finding polio in waste water, but only the one case is diagnosed so far.
Also, is waste water regularly tested for polio? Do we know we haven’t had any cases from regular testing of waste water? Or, it’s usually just based on no one being diagnosed by a doctor?
