Do you use your second story terrace?

If you live in a two or three story house and have a terrace or balcony off of a living space or bedroom on your second floor, do you spend a lot of time on the terrace? To clarify, I am talking about the story above the main level.

When I lived in a two story house we almost never used it, but I like the idea of having one again since houses are so close together where I live. So, I can see out into the open spaces above the other roof tops. I’m not sure if it would get me above the other roof tops? That is something I would have to figure out.
