Who's hiring in New York City?

Asked by Skeeter (14points) September 30th, 2008

I just moved out to New York, and I’m wondering if anyone has suggestions for cool, small to mid-sized companies that are hiring project and/or people managers? Thanks!

Retail always will needs good managers. Depending on your background, consider:

Macy’s, just so you can say you worked at the biggest store in the world =)

Barneys , so you can tell your friends you actually saw someone buy a $360 washing rag with legs.

And my favorite, Katzs if you are a fast pastrami slicing dude. Plus the sides benefits are delicious, pun fully intended =)

Craigslist is a great place to start for the “small” companies. It’s cheap to post jobs, unlike some of the larger job sites that cost more $$$ for employers. Small businesses love cheap services.
