a few years ago, here in chicago, we invited the in-laws over for new year’s eve. turned out to be the night of an historic 21-inch snowstorm blizzard and we were holed up in the house for 2 days.
WITH IN-LAWS? egads!
good thing we had food in the house.
the storm was unexpected, but without firewood and meat, we probably would have eaten each other.
