Gel toothpaste or the white stuff?

i don’t know what it is about gel toothpastes. for some reason, whether it’s blue or red, i feel a good white toothpaste product leaves my teeth and breath cleaner and fresher.
fave white toothpaste is a mixture of peroxide and a citrus splash that borders on orange and cream. it’s a fresh clean taste that says “aaaaahhhhhhhh!”
just don’t get that from gel. do you?
