it’s march and in the midwest it’s windy. i remember flying kites, but don’t see it any more. as a boy, we always flew kites in the month of march. what happened to kites? are we so distant from outdoor pleasure with our sons and daughters?
people in jail call letters to the outside “kites.” what the hell? but seriously, when is the last time you saw a kite in the sky?
what happened to the kite? is it a long-gone nerdy thing? who flies kites any more?
