What images comes to mind when you hear the word, "Mining?"?

Just to be clear, I mean the extraction of minerals from the Earth. I’m trying to come up with a list of words by relation.

To start of some obvious ones would be cart, miner, ore, pick, shaft, those little flashlight helmets, drills, etc…
