Can you suggest a really nice down comforter?

Please help a fellow Jelly keep warm! The weather here is getting colder, and I want to be prepared.
I’m interested in purchasing a new down comforter but I need some suggestions. I already own two that I am not happy with. I have a real goose down one, the feathers kind of poke through and annoy me. Duvet covers helped but the filling travels to the edge regardless. I have a synthetic one, king sized, which worked well when I had a queen bed but is too small for my new king mattress.
I want to find a comforter that hangs down close to or at the bed frame. I don’t have a preference as to real or synthetic. I would like it to be box stitched so the filling doesn’t travel. I’m on a budget of $300 or less (preferably less). There seem to be some good deals on Overstock, but I don’t trust the sizing and am hoping to find actual recommendations.
