Is it OK to ask questions that are just intended to be humorous?

I am a recent Answerbag refugee and don’t want to muddy the waters here by acting out of line. Half the fun of AB to me was the humor. I don’t see that sort of question here. Is that because it’s forbidden to ask anything that’s not a serius question?
